Black Sabbath's homecoming show in Birmingham

Black Sabbath will be performing a homecoming show at the O2 Academy in Birmingham tonight in preparation for their headline performance at this year's Download Festival.

Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler will return to their hometown for the show following November's announcement that the band are working on their first studio album in 33 years.

The show will be the band's first performance in Birmingham for thirteen years and Tony Iommi will be playing despite his battle with cancer.

A donation to Help for Heroes will be made from the proceeds of the show.
