Ellie Simmonds gets ready for London 2012

Double Paralympic swimming champion Ellie Simmonds is gearing up for London 2012.

The 17 year old from Wallsall will represent Great Britain in the 50m, 100m, 400m freestyle and the 200m individual medley.

"It's all really exciting and a little bit scary that it's so close," she said.

"So far I've coped with it. I'm just going to go up to London and enjoy it, hope I can perform the best I can on the day and have fun."

"I'll hope to swim the best I can and hope to be the best."

The Paralympic Games begin August 29th.
