Latest on closure of bmibaby
bmibaby, launched ten years ago, flies from East Midlands, Birmingham, and Belfast to 36 European destinations.
British Airways bought it a month ago as part of a bigger deal but always said they didn't see the company as part of their long term plans.
They have been looking for a buyer since then.
But today they said that no buyer had been found and they were starting consultations with trade unions 'on proposals to review future options for bmibaby', which includes shutting it in September.
