Wednesday's weather forecast

Although there will be some showers around today, they should not be as heavy as in recent days. Some mist patches my linger first thing this morning, and it will be a mainly cloudy start. A few showers will edge into northern parts of the Midlands, but will be fairly light and isolated.

This afternoon the showers will continue to edge south. They will remain fairly light and isolated in nature. There will be one or two gaps in the cloud allowing the odd sunny spell. Temperatures today reaching around 13 or 14 degrees celsius. Staying unsettled with showers into the weekend and turning much cooler.
