110 new jobs at Walkers in Leicester
Crisp giant Walkers is creating 110 new jobs in Leicester as part of a £15.2 million investment at UK manufacturing sites. Owners PepsiCo said applications are now open for general operatives to more experienced manufacturing technicians.
Walkers was established in Leicester in 1982, and employs more than 2,000 people. A number of long-serving staff are due to retire this year.
The new investment will support a new production line making kettle-fried potato crisps.
Rebecca says "As we say a fond farewell to these colleagues, we look forward to welcoming new joiners and encourage people of all backgrounds and experience to apply for our roles."
