Down's Syndrome girl's photo used for internet abuse
A mother says she feels violated after photographs of her 16-year-old daughter, Heidi, were posted on Facebook by 'internet trolls' abusing people with Down's Syndrome and learning difficulties.
Liz Crowter, from Coventry, says she's fed up with Heidi's photos being mis-used.
Even though the pictures were eventually removed by Facebook, she says she's 'horrified and disgusted' at the people who posted them.
The photos of Heidi as a toddler had been taken from Google Images after her mother posted her picture on a parents' support group website, which she was involved in five years ago.
