School teachers' strike

Teachers at a poorly performing school in Birmingham have gone on strike for the second time this month because they are unhappy with how the school is being run.

Staff say bad behaviour at Castle Vale Performing Arts College is not being dealt with properly.

The Local Education Authority says it wont be getting involved in the dispute as it is a school matter.

The NASUWT say they have no choice but to continue with the strike action for Tuesday and Wednesday after the headteacher announced he was to begin a formal disciplinary procedure against the Union's school representative on the grounds that he had spoken to the media on the picket line on the day of the strike action.
