Absconder recaptured after nine years

A convict who failed to return to HMP Sudbury in 2008 has been arrested at Luton Airport after nine years on the run.

Orall Mentesh, who is 47, failed to return to the open prison from day leave. He was sentenced to seven years for possessing class A controlled drugs with intent to supply.
