New Zealand youngsters perform haka in tribute to Huddersfield Giants starlet Ronan Costello

A video showing group of New Zealand school performing the haka in honour of a Huddersfield Giants Academy player who suffered fatal injuries in a game has gone viral online.

Ronan Costello, who was 17, died from head injuries he sustained in a game against Salford Reds.

The video of the youngsters performing the traditional Maori war dance has been seen more than 90,000 times after being posted by the Rugby League Fan Club group on Facebook.
