Queen at 90: the region celebrates
Celebrations are taking place across the region to mark the 90th birthday of Her Royal Highness on Thursday.
Beacons lit for the Queen's 90th birthday
Beacons have been lit across the region this evening as part of the Queen's 90th birthday celebrations.
The Queen lit up the first in a network of 1,000 beacons , while local authorities around the UK hosted lighting events to create a network of flames in celebration.
