Funeral for Bomber Command veteran
The funeral is being held today for Bomber Command veteran Donald Nicholson. The 93-year-old sparked a national search for his war medals last year after losing them ahead of the opening ceremony of Lincoln's new Bomber Command memorial spire.
They were eventually found just a few yards from his home. And shortly afterwards Mr Nicholson was treated to a special flypast at the memorial spire.
