Authorities in North Yorkshire say that the gas leak cordon put in place after the collapse of Tadcaster Bridge has been lifted and residents are being allowed back into their properties.
The bridge itself remains closed.

The local MP has told ITV Calendar the damaged bridge will have 'knock-on' effects on families and businesses, as the community is divided
