Residents in the West Yorkshire town of Mytholmroyd, West Yorkshire, have come together after flooding through torrential rain on Boxing Day.
Elphaborough Close, with around 200 mainly elderly residents, was badly hit by the floods. Most of those in first floor flats have been able to stay in their homes, but all ground floor flats have been devastated by the Boxing Day floods.
The Army came to help today, but the local community, including armies of youngsters with brushes and mops have been out helping over the past two days.
Hot food was delivered to residents and helpers by a firm in Batley.
