900 jobs are to be axed at Tata Steel's Scunthorpe site. The losses are among around 1200 job cuts announced by Tata Steel today.
Tata Steel: Union's hope of future for workers
Union leaders say they are hopeful there IS a future for the steel industry in the UK, with today's announcement that Tata Steel is in exclusive talks with Greybull Capital for the potential sale of its Long Products business, based mainly in Scunthorpe.
