Police are appealing for information after a fatal road traffic incident which has caused significant traffic disruption in Bradford today. A 47-year-old HGV driver was killed after his truck plunged off a roundabout on to the subway.
Police say they are expecting the closure of A650 Wakefield Road in Bradford to extend into the afternoon following a crash involving a lorry this morning.
The HGV crashed into a subway between A6177 Rooley Lane (Dudley Hill Roundabout) and Bowling Back Lane / Essex Street / Prospect Street.
At around 11pm on Friday night police were called to Darley Avenue in Athersley to reports that a man had been stabbed.
