Support from steel workers across the country

People from areas in Yorkshire, Wales, Scotland and Teesside also hit by steel closures joined in today's march in Scunthorpe.

Tata Steel has announced that 900 jobs are likely to go at its plant in the town. A petition has been handed to North Lincolnshire Council asking for a reduction in business rates for the site. The industry blames cheap Chinese imports for a collapse in steel prices. Here's Paul Mc Bean from the Community Union.
