Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has confirmed new members of his shadow cabinet.
Calendar's political correspondent Paul Brand takes a look at who is in ..... and who is out from the region in the new shadow cabinet:
Jeremy Corbyn's claims his top team is 'unifying, dynamic, inclusive', but is it northern? Yorkshire grew used to virtually running the Labour party under Ed Miliband, now it seems our influence is waning.
Until yesterday, around half of Labour's top team were from our region. Now, Yvette Cooper, Rachel Reeves, Dan Jarvis, Mary Creagh and Caroline Flint are all gone. Experienced names, all lost in a weekend. And that's not to forget the departure of Ed Miliband and Ed Balls in May.
Yorkshire keeps its influence through the Leeds MP Hilary Benn, who stays as shadow Foreign Secretary, and Barnsley's Michael Dugher, who moves from transport to culture, media and sport.
There's the new addition of Hemsworth's Jon Trickett, whose support for Jeremy Corbyn is rewarded with the post of shadow Communities and Local Government secretary.
Then there's Doncaster's Rosie Winterton, who had the unenviable task of pulling together this team in her continuing role as Chief Whip.
So Yorkshire retains significant influence. But this isn't like the Miliband days. Yorkshire has the ear of the Labour party, but it doesn't run it any longer.
At around 11pm on Friday night police were called to Darley Avenue in Athersley to reports that a man had been stabbed.
This Evening and Tonight: Showers or longer spells of rain are forecast through the evening and night.
For the second day running there were no deaths of people who tested positive for coronavirus in Scotland.
