Hull North MP Diana Johnson has attacked Jeremy Corbyn for failing to promote any women to the top shadow cabinet positions. Ms Johnson said she was disappointed by the male-dominated top team named by Jeremy Corbyn after the announcement of Andy Burnham, John McDonnell and Hilary Benn to key positions.
Mr Corbyn had promised that 50% of his shadow cabinet would be made up of women but Ms Johnson described the appointments as "very disappointing".
