Demo being held to stop couple's deporation to Saudi Arabia

A demonstration is being held to prevent an elderly couple who were living in Sheffield from being deported to Saudi Arabia.

Raja Khouja who is 56-years-old and 67-year-old Mahmoud Alhassan had come to the UK on holiday from Syria when the war broke out, making it impossible for them to return.

The Home Office wants to deport the pair to Saudi Arabia, where Mahmoud was born, but women's rights activist Raja has received death threats from the religious police.
