A teenager has appeared in court this morning charged with attempted murder after a teacher was stabbed in the stomach.
The 14-year-old appeared at Bradford Magistrates' Court following the attack on 50-year-old Vincent Uzomah at Dixons Kings Academy in the West Yorkshire city.
The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, spoke only to confirm his name and address. A not guilty plea was indicated to the court for the charge of attempted murder.
The teenager was remanded in custody at a youth detention centre and will appear at Bradford Crown Court on 29 June.
