Nicola Adams withdraws from English National Championships after burglary
Leeds boxer Nicola Adams has withdrawn from this weekend's English National Championships after a burglary at her home in Leeds.
Olympic Boxing champion's stolen car found
Police investigating a burglary at Olympic Boxing Champion Nicola Adam's home have recovered her car this morning.
Adams and other family members were at home at the time but were not aware of the break-in. Burglars took two cars, training kit and valuable personal possessions.
The Leeds boxer's grey Hyundai Veloster Turbo was found at around 8.20am today parked in Sandringham Way in Alwoodley after a member of the public called the police to report it having been left there.
The gold medallist had been due to fight in the national championships this weekend but pulled out due to the burglary.
