A man has died following a house fire in Bradford. Police and firefighters were called to the property on Croft Street in Wibsey at around 5.30pm on Sunday evening after flames were seen there.
Emergency crews found the body of a 68 year old man inside. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say they do not believe anybody else was inside the property at the time.
Enquiries are ongoing into this incident with West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service to establish the cause of this fire. At this stage however we do not believe there were any suspicious circumstances. Anyone who saw the fire break out or has information about the incident is asked to contact Bradford District CID on 101.
At around 11pm on Friday night police were called to Darley Avenue in Athersley to reports that a man had been stabbed.
