The brother of Joe Cocker, 74-year-old Vic, has told Calendar News that family and close friends gathered at Joe's home in America yesterday to share memories of the legendary singer.

Joe died last week aged 70 after a battle with lung cancer. The gathering, at Mad Dog Ranch in Crawford, Colorado, was at the invite of Joe's widow Pam. The ranch was named in tribute to Joe's famous live album "Mad Dogs and Englishmen".

Pam invited a few close friends and immediate family to MadDog Ranch in Crawford, Colorado yesterday where we shared our memories of Joe. Roger Davis, his manager, is thinking about a more public memorial in due course. Everyone has been very kind and we have been really touched by their messages of love and support. Joe was just unique as an artist and loved by many thousands because he touched their lives with his voice.
