Sheffield's IBF Welterweight boxing champion Kell Brook says he is 'on the mend' after being stabbed while on holiday in Tenerife, but says he feared he would die after the attack.

Kell feared for life but will return 'fitter and stonger'

Sheffield's boxing world champion Kell Brook has told Calendar he feared for his life and his family after being stabbed in the leg whilst on holiday.

The 26-year-old was on holiday with his pregnant wife and 2-year-old daughter, celebrating the world title he won in Los Angeles just 2 weeks before, when he was the victim of an unprovoked attack.

Kell is now back home recovering from his injury and has promised to come back fitter and stronger. He spoke to Calendar reporter Chris Dawkes:
