Sheffield's IBF Welterweight boxing champion Kell Brook says he is 'on the mend' after being stabbed while on holiday in Tenerife, but says he feared he would die after the attack.
IBF Boxing world champion Kell Brook has told ITV Calendar he thought he was going to die after being stabbed in the leg on holiday.
The 26-year-old from Sheffield was out celebrating in Tenerife after winning the World welterweight title in Los Angeles two weeks before when he was the victim of an unprovoked attack:
At around 11pm on Friday night police were called to Darley Avenue in Athersley to reports that a man had been stabbed.
