Police have recovered the body of a man from a lake in an abandoned quarry near Doncaster.
Body recovered from South Yorkshire lake
Police have recovered a body from a quarry in South Yorkshire after a man went missing while swimming last night. Emergency services were called to the quarry, known locally as Clay Lake, off Hurst Lane, Auckley, just after 9pm yesterday when the man's friends reported him missing. This afternoon underwater divers recovered a body from the water, Martin Fisher reports.
