The takeover of Doncaster Rovers is off according to Louis Tomlinson's business partner. John Ryan and Louis Tomlinson have not passed the Football League's fit and proper person's test. The takeover was NOT dependant on the crowd-funding project.
John Ryan, who is on the verge of completing the takeover of Doncaster Rovers with Louis Tomlinson, says the pop star is like a younger version of himself.
Ryan, who had a previous spell at the club's helm for 15 years, ending in November, says the two of them can bring a "healthy future" for the club:
