A pensioner has died after his car was hit by a train at a rail crossing in North Yorkshire.
The tragedy at Rillington near Malton left wreckage strewn along the tracks and led to the closure of the Scarborough to York line for almost five hours.
Tonight, services have resumed as investigators try to work out how the crash happened. Jon Hill reports.
