A barmaid has narrowly escaped being seriously hurt after an electronic cigarette blew up and flew across the pub she was working in.
The cigarette was being charged using an incompatible charger when it set alight and shot several feet to where Laura Baty was serving customers on Saturday night at Richmond in North Yorkshire.
The fire service is warning of the dangers of using the wrong chargers, as Michael Billington reports.
At around 11pm on Friday night police were called to Darley Avenue in Athersley to reports that a man had been stabbed.
This Evening and Tonight: Showers or longer spells of rain are forecast through the evening and night.
For the second day running there were no deaths of people who tested positive for coronavirus in Scotland.
