Body found in York river is that of missing 18-year-old soldier
Police have confirmed that a body found in the River Ouse, is that of missing soldier Tyler Pearson. The teenager was last seen entering the river in York earlier this month.
River searches continue for young soldier
Police divers will resume underwater searches today for a young soldier who attempted to swim across the River Ouse following a night out with friends. There's been no trace of 18 year old Tyler Pearson since he was seen in the water in the early hours of last Thursday morning.
