1,000 new jobs as Siemens project is given green light
Siemens has announced its wind turbine production projects in East Yorkshire will go ahead with the creation of 1,000 new jobs.
Hull is UK's centre of offshore energy says city MP
Hull East MP Karl Turner says the development of the Siemens plant in Hull makes the city the centre of offshore energy in the UK.
He was speaking after German technology giant announced £310million of investment in the city.
