A new report out paints a mixed picture of economic recovery for town and cities across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. The Cities Outlook ranks Leeds the ninth fastest growing city in the UK. But Bradford, Sheffield and Doncaster are in the bottom ten.
Hull is still not seeing the effects of the economic recovery. While Leeds fared well in a health check survey of UK's major cities, it revealed that between 2010 and 2012, Hull had more job losses than jobs created. It remains in the bottom 10 cities for private sector job growth.
