Funeral of legendary Leeds United captain Bobby Collins

Former Leeds United captain Bobby Collins has died at the age of 82.

Glasgow-born Collins made 167 appearances during a five year stint at Elland Road between 1962 and 1976.

Reaney: Collins was one of the greats

Former Leeds full-back, Paul Reaney, has spoken of his admiration for former Leeds United captain, Bobby Collins.

Collins died age 82, and made 167 appearances during a five year stint at Elland Road between 1962 and 1976.

Reaney, who made 558 appearances for Leeds, said:

"He was one of the greats of Leeds United football club. I don't like to rank players but he was up there with the likes of John Charles and Billy Bremmner.

He was a real tough player hard player and was a winner. He then passed that attitude to the younger players.

_Personally for me when I was coming through he set a great example and looked after me in my younger years at the club."
