Police in Leeds have arrested a 37-year-old man in connection with the shooting of a female police officer earlier this morning.
The man was arrested at 10.10am on Wood Lane in the Headingley area of the city.
At around 11pm on Friday night police were called to Darley Avenue in Athersley to reports that a man had been stabbed.
