Electrical fault caused Chesterfield fire

A house fire which killed two women and two young brothers is believed to have been caused by an electrical fault, a fire service investigation has found.

Derbyshire Police confirmed last week that the blaze in North Wingfield, near Chesterfield, which broke out in the early hours of November 20, was not being treated as suspicious.

Jordan Green, 12, and his nine-year-old brother Tyler died with their mother Josie Leighton, 32, and her friend Claire James, 27, in the fire in Williamthorpe Road.
