Former bandmates of paedophile singer Ian Watkins have expressed their relief that justice has been served.
In a statement issued last year, the group said they had only found out about the singer being charged by the police after Watkins' first court appearance at Cardiff Magistrates Court.
The remaining members kept a dignified silence on the matter, despite receiving scores of abusive messages from internet trolls, but lead guitarist Lee Gaze could not hide his relief on a social networking site when learning that Watkins had pleaded guilty.
Gaze tweeted: "That was over quick", followed by, "Thanks for the kind words. At least there is closure now."
Watkins admitted to a string of child sexual abuse charges, along with two women, one who was from Doncaster.
At around 11pm on Friday night police were called to Darley Avenue in Athersley to reports that a man had been stabbed.
This Evening and Tonight: Showers or longer spells of rain are forecast through the evening and night.
For the second day running there were no deaths of people who tested positive for coronavirus in Scotland.
