A man is due to appear in court after giving himself up following the shooting of three generations of a Northallerton family in Turkey. The 46-year-old gardener, known only as V.A. had reportedly argued with mother Catherine Bury, 56, on Friday.
She fled the gunman and locked herself in the bathroom but he shot through the door and shot her four times with a shotgun.Catherine's mother, 87-year-old Cecille and son, 24-year-old Alex, were also shot and are now fighting for their lives.
At around 11pm on Friday night police were called to Darley Avenue in Athersley to reports that a man had been stabbed.
