Investigations are on-going into a major fire that badly damaged an air conditioning factory on the outskirts of Leeds. The A65 next to the Airedale Site at Rawdon was closed yesterday causing traffic chaos during evening rush hour. It re-opened this morning.
No one was injured. The owners are asking staff to stay at home next week but say there will be no job losses as a result of the fire.

At around 11pm on Friday night police were called to Darley Avenue in Athersley to reports that a man had been stabbed.
