ITV has described a rap video, recorded by the Coronation Street star Chris Fountain, as "totally unacceptable."
The Bradford-born actor has been suspended from the soap after his video, featuring violent lyrics and references to rape, was uploaded on YouTube.
"ITV find both the language used and the views expressed in this video totally unacceptable. Chris Fountain has been suspended pending further inquiries into this matter."
At around 11pm on Friday night police were called to Darley Avenue in Athersley to reports that a man had been stabbed.
