Bradford-born actor, Chris Fountain says he is deeply ashamed after being suspended from Coronation Street for an offensive rap video he recorded. The rap includes lyrics referring to violence and rape.
"I would like to sincerely apologise for any offence I have caused. I am deeply ashamed by the lyrics and very much regret my behaviour. The videos were made over a year ago when I was experimenting with music and I've not done anything like it since nor will I."
At around 11pm on Friday night police were called to Darley Avenue in Athersley to reports that a man had been stabbed.
