204 Signal Squadron is disbanded
Yorkshire has said goodbye to one of its oldest army squadrons as part of the restructuring of the Armed Forces.
204 Signal Squadron, based at Catterick Garrison, is being disbanded. The soldiers, who returned from a tour of Afghanistan earlier this year, marked the end of the unit's distinguished history at Catterick with a special parade. The Squadron will re-form as part of 21 Signal Regiment next year.
