The clean-up operation continues in the village of Walsden near Todmorden after flash flooding. Homes have been swamped and roads washed away after the village was hit by eighteen inches of water on Monday night.
At around 11pm on Friday night police were called to Darley Avenue in Athersley to reports that a man had been stabbed.
