A major clear-up operation is underway after flash floods burst through homes and swept away roads in a West Yorkshire community. The village of Walsden near Todmorden was hit by up to 18 inches of water last night.
At around 11pm on Friday night police were called to Darley Avenue in Athersley to reports that a man had been stabbed.
