Police investigating the murder of Jordan Stapleton at his home in the Meanwood area of Leeds have made a number of arrests. Armed police this morning executed warrants at three addresses in Meanwood and Scott Hall and arrested two men, aged 18 and 19 on suspicion of murder.
Three other people, a 27 year old man from West Park, a 24 year old man from Scott Hall and a 22 year old woman from Meanwood - were arrested yesterday on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.
All have been released without charge for conspiracy to murder but the 27 year old man remains in custody on suspicion of possession with intent to supply controlled drugs. 21 year old Jordan was shot dead in the bathroom of his home as his four year old son slept in the next room.
At around 11pm on Friday night police were called to Darley Avenue in Athersley to reports that a man had been stabbed.
