Safety work is continuing at the rail crossing at Great Coates, near Grimsby, where two men were killed when their car was hit by a train travelling at 60 mph. British Transport Police say they're keeping anopen mind about the tragedy but add that the crossing was working correctly.
A former railway worker who lives nearby says it was "an accident waiting to happen" because people regularly ignore warning lights at the automatic half-barrier crossing.
