Police are continuing to search a house and farmland in Lincolnshire for the body of murder suspect James Brodie. He disappeared in 2003 after Mansfield jeweller Marian Bates was shot dead in a robbery.
Detectives believe Brodie was murdered after the fatal robbery and are searching the land in East Heckington for his body after receiving intelligence. On Wednesday February 6 police arrested two men on suspicion of Brodie's murder.
At around 11pm on Friday night police were called to Darley Avenue in Athersley to reports that a man had been stabbed.
