This is the latest information issued by the Environment Agency and North Yorkshire County Council :-
Levels of the River Derwent at Malton are continuing to fall slowly. Latest readings show it is now 4.4m.
Pumping continues to operate in Malton, Old Malton and Norton with signs of improvements across most areas. Pumping will continue over the weekend and there will be a continuous review of the positioning of the pumps.
Brawby – the situation is continuing to be monitored.
Road closures caused by flooding are still in place; these include Town Street, Old Malton; County Bridge and Castlegate.
Malton and Norton - businesses are open as usual with events including todays Malton Food Market still on.
Work to demolish a row of cottages overlooking a North Yorkshire harbour will take place tomorrow morning, it has been confirmed.
The Government is granting £120 million to help areas affected by flooding.
The government is to provide millions of pounds of funding for flood defence projects.
