A controversial Orange Order march is taking place through Harrogate to mark Prince William of Orange's victory over King James II at the battle of the Boyne in 1690
Their marches are normally part of the poltical fabric of Northern Ireland, but today the spa of Harrogate hosted its first ever Orange march. It was the brainchild of a local man but it was attended by other Orange groups from around the UK.
There were initial fears that there could have been counter protests from the catholic community. But the march passed off without any visible opposition.
At around 11pm on Friday night police were called to Darley Avenue in Athersley to reports that a man had been stabbed.
This Evening and Tonight: Showers or longer spells of rain are forecast through the evening and night.
For the second day running there were no deaths of people who tested positive for coronavirus in Scotland.
