Students open GCSE results in Calendar region
Thousands of young people across Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire are getting their GCSE results.
It comes after the biggest shake up of the exam in a generation. Twenty subjects are being marked with grades 9 to 1, with 9 being the highest grade. It replaces the old A* to G system.

Sheffield student scores clean sweep of 9s in GCSEs
A Sheffield student has scored a clean sweep of 9s in his GCSEs.
Joshua Kirkhope-Arkley, who studies at Silverdale School in Sheffield, got ten 9s.
He is one of only 732 teenagers across the country to score the top grade in every single one of their subjects.
