Former England manager Graham Taylor dies

Former England manager Graham Taylor has died aged 72.

Taylor was born in Worksop, and grew up in Scunthorpe. He played for Grimsby Town and Lincoln City, before starting his managerial career at the latter.

Lincoln City pay tribute to Graham Taylor

Lincoln City have paid tribute to their former player and manager Graham Taylor following his death earlier today.

Taylor, who was born in Worksop, played around 150 games for the Imps between 1968 and 1972.

After retiring through injury, he began his managerial career at Lincoln and won the Fourth Division title with the club in 1976.

Grimsby Town have paid tribute to their former manager Graham Taylor, following his death earlier today.

Taylor, who was born in Scunthorpe, played more than 180 games for The Mariners between 1962 and 1968.
